Born In The USA car show, Docklands, Melbourne

G'day all,

This years Born in the USA car show at Docklands, Melbourne was a two day event with rods and customs on Saturday and American classics on Sunday. While the turn-out for Saturday was low, being the first time for Saturday, the quality of rides was high and impressive with the patrons enjoying the surrounding venues and live band. Sunday’s affair was huge as could be expected with beautiful weather, fabulous surroundings, great restaurants and Harbor Town shopping near by and if that wasn’t enough, there was an Elvis impersonator to rock to as well! Gary and the crew of the Lincoln/ Mercury car club are to be congratulated for putting on a fantastic event as they have done every year. Fletch from Classic Restos was there too with camera in hand so watch for this event on upcoming shows and see you there next year!

  1. Great shots, Greg. Fantastic cars and what a setting. I'm particularly interested in a car from Sunday. Its the 10th last photo from the base image. A white car with black roof, full side on shot, outside Berth restaurant. Have you any other shots of this car ? I'm trying to locate the owner via the entrant no. on the windscreen, if you may have taken a shot that may show this up.
    Could you let me know?
